Amazing followup to the first! There were such incredible messages of self-love and acceptance in this sequel that it made my heart ache for Beetle and Kat. I think this would make a beautiful movie like they did for Nimona, I can only wish that will happen one day.

Easily one of my top reads for the year so far! Queer joy, a magical yet mysterious carnival, stunning art style, and the perfect extension of a sequel from the first book. My only complaint is I want MORE! 😭✨️ Ally grandma gave me all the feels too lol 🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️ can't wait to re read this again in the future probably around Halloween because the spooky vibes are always immaculate
