Told through the art and crafts she’s made during the ups and downs throughout her life, she makes beautiful connections to each era and piece throughout.  I appreciated how frequently she would share an experience, and follow it up with her reflection or understanding of it now through therapy and the things she created. Quick read, if you’re crafty you’ll definitely relate.

Wow just wow... This book is fantastic. Now I may be a bit biased because I love Sutton but even if you have no idea who she is or what she's done, this book is really good. I laughed, I cried, I just... Was in awe. I didn't know much of Sutton's life story other than her brother Hunter and her career stuff so these parts of the book were fascinating, heartbreaking, and amazing all at the same time. 

As someone who started crochet to keep my hands busy, i really identified with that part of the book as well. 

Just go read it. It's fantastic.
