Seemed… mmmm… bad. Especially compared to the first one. The romantic relationships were so confusing to me? Just felt confused the whole time. Also, the character development, while extensive, is more what I would categorize as devolvement to be completely honest. I hope the next book is as good as the first because this was almost painful to get through. **one positive though- I love Gideon & Nico still feels pretty close to who he was in the first book (Gideon is my favorite)**

olivie tries so hard to have an interesting and diverse cast of characters but they are all the same in their apathy and blandness
