Loved it!
A.J. and Kane’s story kept me on the edge of my seat in a few ways—wondering what was really going on with the apparent terrorist plot and also trying to figure out what A.J. stands for as Kane makes his hilarious guesses! Caitlyn is so great at world building, and all her characters are so compelling and make you feel like you know them and you’re immediately invested. I love that her books are so well-rounded. This one has the laughter and witty banter of the comradery between the characters, suspense, plot twists, action, as well as a burgeoning romance with sizzling chemistry! I’ll be diving into the next book as soon as I can get it!

Romantic suspense is my favorite sub-genre and this is exactly what I love! My first book by Caitlyn O'Leary, I am hooked and can't wait for more. Her Ruthless Protector is action packed, full of steam and kept me on the edge the entire time. Kane McNamara and his team are set to guard the International Music Show. Maybe this is what grabbed me as I love America's Got Talent! When Kane meets coordinator AJ Lancaster, he may have finally met the woman of his dreams. Not only is she beautiful, but feisty. When it's clear the Al-Qaeda's next target is this show, things get crazy. Will they make it out alive? This book is fast paced and the story is amazing. With the chemistry between Kane and AJ, their budding relationship is set to ignite. Kane is not only alpha protective, but he knows what he wants. Love a man like that. AJ is incredible, with her ability to organize, her spunk and her bravery, it's impossible not to fall for this heroine. I loved every minute of this book and can't wait for more of the series. The team team is going to prove to be very entertaining!
Narrated by Ryan West and Savannah Richards it's like a movie flowing in your mind. West is perfect for the alpha male, Kane. He has a raspiness that sets him as commanding in the field and sexy with his woman. He adds the Irish brogue with ease for other characters. Richards is one of my favorites. She can hone in on a character and find all the nuances to make her come to life. This team is perfection.

I thoroughly enjoyed meeting Kane and A.J. in the latest story by Ms. O'Leary. Danger, politics and love usually are a bad mix but I loved seeing Ms. O'Leary shake it up.
Kane never expected to meet someone like A.J. She isn't what he expected when he drew the short stick on his latest assignment. I love that A.J. stood her ground and showed Kane who was in charge. She did not allow him to bypass or ignore her. But I also loved that her confidence sat comfortably on her skin. She was flirty without being trashy. She was confident without being bitchy. She was everything this Navy Seal never knew he wanted. Kane wasn't expected AJ but I loved that he quickly saw her worth. He wanted to know more and didn't allow the danger to stop him. He wasn't quite sure about the world AJ inhabited but was willing to roll with it, even as he protected her. I enjoyed the chemistry and the conversation. It was well articulated and snappy. This story is full of action, honor and love. Ms. O'Leary is weaving a tale that spends past this story and I can't wait to see where she is taking us on this fast paced ride.

First book by Caitlyn O'Leary and I loved it!! Well written, action packed, suspense and the HOT chemistry between A.J. and Kane. Definitely a good read!! I received an ARC for my honest opinion.

This book was a good read packed with a lot of details so it was slow to get into until Kane and his team meet AJ on an assignment. I loved this band of brother's and how they have each other's backs no matter what. I also enjoyed Aj because she is smart, feisty, and could hold her own. I wish it had more time with Kane and Aj because they spend more time apart doing their own things during this mission than they do together. The military side was intense, action packed, but it ran over the book instead of the romance side of things. Overall a good easy read and I will continue with the rest of the guys.
