Just as LOL as always, I enjoyed this one very much.

Wish she’d just pick a guy already…thirty books of this is getting old

At first I was wondering why this book was 336 pages long. It unfolded as a simple story about a robbery, with Stephanie Plum pursuing the suspects to bring them in for their court dates. Slowly Evanovich brings in other actors who don't seem related to the case at all. Along the way, Lula's quips and fondness for food add amusement, as does Stephanie's gossip loving grandma Mazur.
As Stephanie goes after other "FTA's" (failure to appear), she gets herself in dangerous situations that she is able to handle with "a plum" (aplomb) by using a taser and Lula's gun reveal.
Meanwhile there are bombings that are done by a mysterious actor - was it "Grendel," Lula's stalker that she named from the Celtic myth of Beowulf? Or someone connected to Dugan or Nutsy?
Bob, Morelli's dog that Stephanie is dogsitting, needs to come along everywhere or risk him eating things in her apartment or cars. But as we get further into the book, Bob is Stephanie's confident, especially when juggling her affections for Morelli and Ranger. Ranger comes off very well with his "Babe" comments; giving her a hamsa pendant for protection; and providing her a place to stay. One of his best comments was "I've never slept with another man's dog before!"
Gradually ties between the bad actors come together with the jewelry store robbery. I love that an FTA was named "Diggery" and that his crime was digging up graves.
This was an enjoyable book that made me feel like I could eat lots of doughnuts and look as good as Stephanie Plum!
