Picked this up after not reading a Stephanie Plum mystery for years and years....and nothing had changed.  Not in a good way.  Fast and easy, but repetitive and boring.

Stephanie Plum is back at it again. In this book she’s solving the mystery of a robbery gone wrong at a local jewelry store when she’s hired by the owner. Things aren’t adding up and she feels obligated to find out what really happened.

This book is good for sure I have liked all the books. They’re easy to read and funny. Stephanie is likable and Lula is hilarious. This books was missing some of the hijinks and seemed to focus a little more on the Ranger Morelli issue she’s had going on for the 30 book series. Which honestly I mean just choose and be done with it.

This was another cute installment. I still believe that. Stephanie lacks character progression for this to be a 30 book installment. I think the series will need to end soon if nothing more happens with who she is as a person.

What a fun visit to Trenton, NJ! Stephanie and the gang are back and ready for some messy adventures. This one reminded me of the early books in the series, and I can't wait to see what's next.
