Honestly not bad! Cassie is a struggling student who takes up a nannying job to pay bills after quitting OnlyFans and getting let go from her last job. Aiden is a chef and father to Sophie who used to be Cassies biggest supporter online. I really enjoyed the dynamic between Sophie and Cassie, Cassie and Aiden, and Aiden and Sophie. I think it was pretty well balanced and felt very natural and funny. I think my problems came with the balance of dialogue/emotional connection to sex. They had so much sex and they were horrible communicators. Like every fights/the big climax would have been an easy solve if they would just have a conversation. It pissed me off so bad that they knew they sucked at communicating and NEVER worked ok it/addressed it. Also I usually never complain about smut (who would?) but, theres like one too many smut scenes here. Feels a tad unbalanced with the lack of communication.

I really enjoyed this book in the beginning, the characters had awesome chemistry and the plot made me want to keep reading, but I felt like it was too long and the middle became a bit repetitive. While I enjoyed the ending, I felt like I had to force myself to finish it.

“I know. Am I a horrible person?”, “For which part: sleeping with your boss, or not telling him he used to watch you diddle your skittle on camera?"

Fucking LOVED this book, and happy to say I’m still in my romance era. It’s been a while since I’ve genuinely not wanted to put my book down but I was obsessed. It was hilarious, the chemistry was to die for and it was just a fun cute read!

Wanda is a woman I want to be best friends with, what a woman.

I was expecting a lot more from this book, but it’s mainly parenting drama. The main characters are fine, but not great. The only redeeming factor is the quality of the spice. 🌶️

i genuinely had a good time with this one! i love a good single dad romance (especially if the kid(s) are cute, which she was!!!) but the addition of a live in nanny?? amazing and an OG fave of mine. i also liked the second chance aspect of this as it was a little different and more modern/contemporary which i liked. while i'm normally a hater of 3rd act breakups and the quick resolutions that surround them, i actually liked this one and found it realistic for them.

⚠️: death of parent, abandonment, child abuse, medical content
