DNF - Idk If I should be rating this since i didn't finish it, but i did get through 80% of it and thats a lot considering how very slow it was. So i'm stopping while i still can and assuming everything works out just fine and they live happily ever after.

I tried to look past the fact that the book revolved around selling women but I just couldn't do it. I get that the women were technically put in a better place but god the girls were all so excited to be sold like jewels. I struggled reading this. I know it was a different world and whatever but I just kept putting myself in their places and I kept getting pissed off. These girls are being trained to be good wives so that some man will put in an offer for them. It's barbaric.
I can usually look past situations that are demeaning and get into a book anyways. A lot of things that bother other people usually don't bother me. I look at the situation and I realized that it's all fake and it's just a story and who cares if there is something demeaning if the story around it is still good. But this one I tried and I couldn't. I think maybe because the selling of women was the sole focus of this book. Therefore I won't be reading the next book. I have zero interest.

No puedo mencionar a una sola persona que le haya dado una buena puntuación a este libro, asi que, por ende, tenia mucho, mucho miedo al momento de empezarlo. Estoy muy feliz de que si me haya gustado mucho.
Ésta es una trilogía extraña: cada libro es la misma historia contada desde el punto de vista de una protagonista diferente y ya leyendo los tres obtienes el panorama completo de la historia y de lo que sucede. Definitivamente puedo ver claramente como ese aspecto vendra a ser relevante en los siguientes dos y me parece una manera original de contarnos una historia.
Este primer acercamiento a la historia de The Glittering Court contado desde Adelaide me gustó bastante. Es una protagonista buena, me gusto mucho como actúa y la manera en la que ve las cosas. su trama individual es interesante, pero desde ya puedo asegurar que los siguientes dos libros me van a gustar más.
Me encantó el aspecto de glamour y lujuria que lleva consigo La Corte y disfruté mucho leyendo el libro estando situados ahi. Dicho ésto, alrededor de la página 300, cambiamos por completo de escenario y las próximas 70 páginas me parecieron eternas y muy, muy lentas. M urgia regresar a donde estábamos y siento que ese fue uno de los aspectos que más influyo en la calificación del libro.
Quedan demasiadas cosas inconclusas al final de este libro que sé se irás resolviendo en los dos libros siguientes, y quede con ganas enormes de continuar inmediatamente con la trilogía.

This was such a weird book. I'm still not actually sure if I liked it. It kept me reading but I'm not sure I liked the odd jumping from good to bad and what not.
Deceit, drama, romance...all can be found in this book! The Glittering Court is filled with beautiful women trying to find a rich husband and men who will do anything to be chosen!
I've read this book in 3 days. It was a great read! I love richelle mead! Now I really want to check out soundless! Five stars. Great start to a series!!(:
