I have never read any of Alley Ciz's but this will not be my last. Looking to Score follows our main characters Kayla and Mason, or Skittles and Cassanova. The chemistry between the two of these characters are incredible, and I enjoyed the ups and downs of their relationship. The only thing I hated about this book was that cliffhanger!

Oh Alley. This is my girl! She is and will always be a one click read for me. To be honest I never read her blurbs cuz I know I am gonna want to read her books, especially when they are sports related books cuz she rocks any sports she writes about.

She CLEARLY didn’t disappoint with Mase and Kay! I loved how Mase was taken with Kay right away from just seeing her from far away. Thinking she was with someone else but never able to get her off his mind til he found out more about her. Then Kay wasn’t all about his Casanova ways. Loved how she wasn’t taking any of his lines, her sassy comebacks to him made me laugh and love her! But that only made Mase want her even more cuz she never chased after him.

But getting to know more about Kay and all her reasons for the way she was, that broke my heart. This poor girl and all that she went through. But seeing her with Mase and how they were together, how they were really perfect for each other warmed my heart. And can I say I loved and support her silly tshirts lol.

Mason and Kayla, Mase and Kay, Casanova and PF, Caveman and Skittles, #kaysonova.... whatever ship name you're using, they are the BEST. I've never been sucked into a series faster in my life. The instant banter, the sass from Kay, the incessant flirting from Mase even after being shut down multiple times. ALL THE THINGS. Even if sports romance isn't usually your thing, you'll still love this series! (But hello, swoony football player? YES PLEASE)

There's a lot of obstacles getting there but Mase and Kay's relationship is one of my favorites of all time. There is absolutely some drama, but that's all part of the fun. This book does end on a pretty massive cliff hanger but it sets up book 2 perfectly! Alley is the evil queen for a reason, emphasis on QUEEN. Can't recommend this series enough!

Cliffy!

I am giving this book four stars because it sucked me in but it ended in a cliffhanger that I wasn’t expecting. I didn’t think to read the blurb or look ahead. It’s a trilogy and it’s super long so the likelihood of me continuing the series is small. :(
