I don't think I have enough words to describe how much I enjoyed this fourth installment. I loved watching all the character growth especially Shallan's. I loved how Shallan went from being this timid girl to the strong wife of Adolin who finally conquers her past and becomes who she was meant to be. I also had Gavilar and glad her was killed off (not a spoiler.)

“This is life and I will not lie by saying every day will be sunshine. But there will be sunshine again, and that is a very different thing to say. That is truth. I promise you, Kaladin: you will be warm again.
medium-paced

If you're this far into the series we're all committed to finishing, regardless it's more of BS great work leaves you wishing book 5 was out.
slow-paced

A step down from the precious three books, but maybe I'm just getting tired of the Sanderson format. Strong start and finish with about 1200 pages of filler in between. The filler used to at least be engaging. This one was a chore to finish, and the "sanderlanche" at the end didn't exactly knock my socks off.
