Bitch, what the fuck? WHAT THE FUCK???
I was "currently" reading this book for the past 3-ish months because I had to brace myself for the introduction of my favorite simp-boy Milos. And boy did he surpass all my expectations to how much of a lover boy he is. Jesus Christ, the amount of trouble and heartbreak he got himself into is just astounding. AND I CAN FIX HIM.
Now, the reason it took me so long to finish this book was not because it was boring. But, because I didn't want this ride to end.
Everwild was a strong sequel to the first book, expanding more on its world-building and character development. The cast was so strong and absolutely unhinged. I might even say that I fell in love with Mary McGill as well. (I can make her worse).
I was absolutely breath-taken to how much thought and care was put into each character. Even if we possibly never see them again. But, having such human and intelligent (?) characters placed into amazing, supernatural circumstances was nothing short of extradinary. I am so going to dread this wonderful series ending because where will I get my fix of Everlost lore?
5 / 5 A+
