Read this book if you really enjoy sarcastic existentialism mixed with very odd scientific, metaphysical jokes. Its also got a fair bit of science. Check out the disproof of God early on in the book... good ol' babelfish.

Entirely wackadoodle! Entirely entertaining!

its like trippy man. Book goes to great lengthsto not take itself seriously. Couldn't put it down

Very fast read, but it is also very dense and deep in its relatively few pages. I'm sure I could uncover some more of its treasures on a second closer read, but at least I can say it was highly entertaining the first read.

Maybe it's just because I have had this book hyped up to me for years or maybe it's the fact that I read The True Meaning of Smekday as a kid, but I wasn't terribly impressed with this story. The quirkiness and nonsensical humor didn't really make up for the lack of plot in my opinion, granted like I said this could be because I was exposed to similar books when I was younger. I wanted to love this book, and I can see why people do, but it didn't do anything for me.
