I don't know what it is with these Detective Club Crime Classics. They are boring. Ok, granted, I've read three (including this one), but they are all just so incredibly average? They aren't special, they are amusing, but I've read way better detectives.
This one read like a soap opera, every chapter ended on a (far fetched) cliffhanger and the ending was just really boring, nothing amazing, no thrill, no nothing. I didn't feel like DNF'ing it, so it wasn't THAT boring, but it just wasn't something to tell anyone about.
Every cliche was used in the book, the characters were really flat and had no personality or something to make them different from one another.

Do I recommend this one? Not really. Do I regret reading it? No, I don't. I just wish it was a bit more!
