I loved this book! These characters and the setting and the way they all came together? It was such a fun, quick read that had all the twists and turns, as well as the spice and tension.
Without spoilers - 100% would recommend if you like The Mummy and Why Choose and characters that develop their relationships it small moments, together.

Also, very curious about the next installment in the Adventureverse!

I absolutely love omega verse and that all thanks to Thea, she introduced me to trope and now I’m hooked. And this read didn’t disappoint. In picture Indiana Jones plus the Mummy plus reverse harem and you have the SUPER STAR read.

Thea made me fall in love with the omegaverse tropic or just maybe her writing and I really enjoyed the adventure, the spice and the poly love in this read. I would be a dream to find all those different personalities in your partners.

Please keep giving more books to consume Thea and Clover!!!

This was a fantastic read!

Adventure, hilarious banter, angst, magic, and great spice. This book has everything your little omega heart could desire.

This gives off the wonderful vibes of all those great archeological/treasure hunting movies I grew up on. Then add an omegaverse twist and I was hooked.

I have no idea how Thea does it.

In a short story she can create fully fledged characters so well that everything POV change fit the person's character profile perfectly. Her tone, emotion and perception adaptation in her writing is her best skill. What some authors need a full novel to accomplish, Thea can do in a novella!

This was a great archaeology adventure, rooted in Omegaverse lore that Thea created for this book, and I am hoping for more Adventureverse stories.

Spicy, the mummy/Indiana Jones, why choose goodness.
I don't know how to describe this adequately but it pure bliss. It's fun and hot and the plot is totally up my alley.
There is this once in a lifetime chance to be included in a archeology dig in the desert and the artifacts could be life changing.
If you are up for an adventure read this book immediately!

Genre: Adult Omegaverse
Spice: 3.5/5šŸŒ¶ļø
*spice ratings are relative to similar books in the same genre
(3.5/5 means this book is a teensy bit spicier than the average omegaverse book)

The Catalog: MMMFM Omegaverse, FMC in STEM, forced proximity (archaeological dig site & cave in), rival professors to lovers, scent-match mates, hurt/comfort, found family, build a pack, good boy/girl, surprise heat, kink: power play, impact play, designation dysphoria, sensory deprivation, edging, slight degradation & praise

TWs/CWs: animal deaths (for sustenance), infertility and hormone cycle condition, designation dysphoria

Synopsis: Cora has dedicated her career to being a scholar of Lunara, an ancient deity believed to be the goddess of omegas. Now, faced with the opportunity to be a lead archaeologist on an excavation thought to be Lunara’s temple, she couldn’t be more excited! Except, she finds out that the grumpy professor that hates her is her co-lead. On site, Cora finds herself drawn to the security alpha, highly intelligent beta scientist, and unbelievably, her grumpy colleague. But things go awry when it becomes clear she has something of a harmless stalker, with whom she, along with her team, gets trapped in a cave-in in Lunara’s temple.

Thoughts:
TLDR; An enthralling nod to adventure classics such as Indiana Jones and The Mummy, Welcome to Bonetown is an incredibly fun and daring take on omegaverse!

If there’s one way to ensure an Ash brain-gasm, it’s to give something I love an anthropological twist. So imagine my delight when I saw this archaeological adventure omegaverse! And let me say, it absolutely brought all of the humor, danger, magic, adventure, and knots! I really enjoyed this one, y’all. It was so much fun.

First, I really loved the lore the authors created surrounding their omega deity, Lunara. The backstory behind the temple and the little bits of supernatural mystery were incredibly immersive!  Second, the characters were simply delightful. Each one of them brought something different and unique to the group, and I thought they really worked well together. Despite trying my best to not have a favorite, Jax, the mischievous treasure hunter really won me over with his outrageous, unhinged shenanigans!

As for the romance, y’all know there’s hardly anything better than a forced proximity surprise heat to really make the characters face their reality and get knotting. Expect unique sexy time locations complete with dangerous booby traps and creepy crawlies!

Definitely recommend to OV readers, especially those that love humor and hijinx.

If I could give this book more than five stars I would! It was an amazing read! If you like old school adventure movies like The Mummy or National Treasure and you love omega romances then this one is for you!

It is full of hidden temples, secret artefacts, deadly situations and the hottest spice!
Cora is a powerful FMC that takes no nonsense so she was really great to read.

My favourite character has to be Jax the unhinged treasure hunter who is OBSESSED with Cora and is willing to do whatever it takes to keep her and make her happy.

Spice wise this is about a four out of five, there is a bunch of group spice as well as some of the lads falling for one another. 🄵

I read this as an arc but it comes out on the 28th of May. Definitely check it out if you're keen for an adventure!!

I'm speechless.
I don't even know where to start.
From the very first page to the last I was obsessed.
Cora, Roman, Bear, Archer and Jax pulled me in so quick and had me not wanting to leave them!
I keep changing my favourite, one minute it's Jax and then Bear and Archer do something then they race to the top spot and then Roman shows his feelings so he's on top so I'm officially putting them all in first place!
I'm so glad they all got their HEA!
But that ending! I can't wait for that to be explored!

I read Welcome to Bone Town in a less than 12 hour time frame! I absolutely love this Omegaverse. A lot of OV blends together for me, but the characters and setting are so unique! I loved this pack of men; each of them had their own unique personality and backstory.    Cora was a strong, empowered Omega, while still being vulnerable with her Alphas (and Beta!) Not to give anything away, but she has a unique problem with her biology, and I really enjoyed this twist on Omegas. Another way this book stands apart from other OV stories. My only complaint is I wish it hadn’t ended! So looking forward to the next Adventureverse story.
