I guess when you are able to write a christian apologia in a form of popular epic fantasy without it becoming too preachy untill the very end, it shows some talant. But I dont really read books to be preached. On top of that there is a blatant hilarious ex machina, rules changing when it suites the author to push ahead the story, people becoming semi gods after year or even weeks of training, some essential characters basically dissapiring, enternal beings with god like powets who ONLY speak in bunter (oh how cool how cool), young adult feel to everething from charachters to magic system, so a lot of faults. Jesus endless new names and places namedropped untill the very end of the last book without mentioning it ever again. 

On the good side there is an epic story which have been resolved pretty nicely and some outlook on a christian concept of a free will which is interesting by itself. 
Could have been a really great series if it was not so in a bad (Sandersonesque) way young-adultish and preachy. Somehow, having so many components I despise It did however keep me captivated somehow (even though  I could not care less what happens to any character in the end) so i give it additional star but it should have been 2. Also the short but thorough synopsis of what have happend in the serious before the current instalation is a really nice touch and I wish more authors/publishers did that.
