I really liked elements of this book but thought it fell a bit flat overall.

This book did not turn out to be what I was expecting which made it all the more enjoyable. I don't generally enjoy covid being included in a fiction story but this was done softly enough that it didn't overtake the story.

I really loved the analogy between the ghost and Flynn. I think this book was well researched on domestic violence and also on motherhood. The writing was superb. I even fell in love with the kids. What a unique way to write about such an epidemic in our society today. I want to read it again to see the little parts I'm sure I missed.
