This book was cute but I didnt love it. I felt like it could have been alot shorter and we kept coming back to the same events again and again between Nick and Noel. Some timeline things had be a bit confused in the way they were written but a very cute story. The writing was pretty much was did it for me.
I am also a mood reader and I was really in the mood for a romance as the central plot and this book had alot of subplots I wasnt interested in.

Wieder eine der "kostenlos im Abo"-Geschichten auf Audible, gut vertont und abwechselnd aus Sicht der weiblichen Protagonistin von einer Frau und aus Sicht der männlichen Hauptfigur von einem Mann gelesen. Das Ganze ist auf Englisch, was mir normalerweise nix ausmacht - aber was bei Anne of Green Gables das altmodische Vokabular war, waren bei dieser Geschichte die "digitale Popkultur"-Referenzen, die ich einfach nicht kannte. Ich weiß zwar, dass "TLC" - "Tender, Love and Care" heißt und dass "TMI" "Too Much Information" heißt - aber es gab so einige weitere Abkürzungen, von denen ich einfach nicht wusste, was sie bedeuten. Da bin ich mit meinen Ü 50 dann wohl doch schon ein bissle zu alt? Zwischenzeitlich hat mich das so genervt, dass ich sogar überlegt habe, die Geschichte nicht fertig zu hören - aber dann hat's sich wieder beruhigt.
Die Antagonistin - die Ex der männlichen Hauptfigur- fand ich dann auch etwas zu eindimensional böse, und die beste Freundin war auch etwas nervig, aber ingesamt war es schon ganz nett. Besonders weihnachtlich ist die Geschichte allerdings nicht - sie spielt zwar zur Weihnachtszeit, alle Figuren haben "weihnachtliche" Namen wie Noel, Nick oder Merry - aber eigentlich könnte das auch an Ostern passieren. Dann hätten Nicks Eltern eben eine Eierfarm statt eines Weihnachtsbaumverkaufs und es käme ein Oster- statt ein Weihnachtskonzert vor. Ach ja, auf der erwähnten Playlist tauchen schon einige weihnachtliche Songs auf - aber die kannte ich fast alle auch nicht, außer so Klassikern von Bing Crosby oder Last Christmas... Also: Für knapp 3 Sterne hat's gereicht, weiterhören werde ich in der Reihe aber sicher nicht.

It was soo cringy I didn’t like it
Why did they have so many cringy lines??!!
Only person I actually liked was Nick hahaha

Family tree farm business,guy & girl best friends,music lovers.
I actually really loved this book!
It had best friend to lovers trope.
A bit of drama and lots of Christmas.
Had an awesome storyline.
I loved the progression of the story line and the relationship.
I loved so many of the side characters that I’m so glad there are other books.
This really hit me In my holiday feels and I loved every second of it.

A lot of sap, not much steam, but I adored this one. Absolutely adorable and even though I read these out of order they were still all adorable.

A great little trio for the holidays.

Look at me writing a review immediately after finishing a book! Who am I?!

This one was 100% adorbs—got wrapped up in it right away. Friends to lovers, a little bit of fake dating..what more could a girl want?

“If Noel can turn Nick’s “Blue Christmas” merry and bright, this might be the “Last Christmas” Nick spends with a broken heart. This year, they’ll be “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree” as a couple—as long as Nick’s ex doesn’t go standing under any mistletoe.”
