This is a good read specifically for crazy cat lady. The book takes you into the adventure of Tom Jones, once a gentle cat lived his life according to his own code until he decided that he wanted to settle down. He wandered through a vast neighborhood, meet few people whom he called a potential housekeeper until he stumbled upon 2 wonderful ladies. They fell in love with Tom first before Tom finally realized that the feeling was indeed mutual. He called them, brusque voice and gentle voice whenever they are in his narration. Why does the title called the fur person? Its a growing up phase from being the gentle cat / stray and doesnt belong to anyone to the fur person / someone's pet or family's member.

Well, didn’t this just tickle my fancy. In looking for Sarton’s journals at the library, I picked this up in their stead and it was an absolute delight. You know, if you like cats.
