Heart-comforting as always. Love the parallel storyline of each character and the writing that lets readers travel through time.

What a great book! Imagine a day without time. What would you do? It's a real eye opener how much we all depend on time.

I listened to the audio book of this which surprizingly is read by Dan Stevens from Downton Abbey. If I didn't know his name I wouldn't have known who he was! I respect that.

The narration is excellent. Stevens's representation of each character was easy to follow and not annoying as it can sometimes be to hear one person voice so many different characters.

I enjoyed the story. It is a bit like a self help book at times and also a bit like "It's a Wonderful Life" toward the end. The POV shifts between three characters who are all interconnected and occasionally will briefly drift to another character.

This is a story about how the invention of time pieces that divide time into segments has left humanity with only something to endlessly obsessive over. Everywhere we look there is a clock, we even carry them around with us and constantly look at them. The book argues that this standardization of time only forces us to look away from the beauty we have been given in the world.

This was the first Mitch Album I read, and I'm not sure if I would read another. The reason I gave the book 4 stars instead of 5 was because at times I felt like I was in therapy and also because the teenage girl character just didn't feel authentic. She seemed very stereotypical.

However, I do believe that one person can change the world. I just didn't need this book to tell me that.

The book was a lot better than I expected.

It was a story about how to appreciate time told through three different perspectives.
