My sons and I loved the movie so I thought it would be fun to read the series together at bedtime. At first it was all about my kids, and then reading this series became about me too. I enjoyed being able to compare the discrepancies between the book and the movie. This book has everything: action, adventure and above all DANGER. Percy must face his fear and his insecurities to complete his quest. This book made for great bedtime reading and I would recommend it to all.

Me acuerdo de que yo vi la película de este libro mucho antes de leerlo. No me apasionó demasiado pero bueno engancha, aún así no le llega al libro ni a la suela de los zapatos. Percy es lo mejor
A lighthearted “the world might end if I fail” adventure book. A fun ride! It’s low fantasy, creatively imagining how Greek myths/characters might operate in modern America. I anticipated the twist at the end, but was satisfied rather than disappointed by that particular predictability.
