Didn’t end up liking this book in the Arden High universe as much as the last one as there were way too many characters that made it hard to focus on any one storyline. While some great themes were explored this many characters meant very few felt wrapped up by the end. I was looking for more discussion of demisexuality in particular but we got very little resolution there but way more page time on the dynamic of the cheer squad. It felt like this could have been pared down by having way less sub plots and random romantic relationships. Also a lot of toxic and uneven friendship dynamics that only partially felt resolved by the end.
