He liked being freaked out. The prickle of hair on his arms, the curl of anticipation in his gut. He liked that sense that magic was coming for him, instead of the other way around. The door down below slammed as Ronan entered the warehouse. “Don’t come up, Lynch. We’re going out.”
“To do what?”
“What do we ever do?” Gansey replied. “To find a king.”
creepy, i like

I like this little, short scene much better than Blue's Christmas story. While the other one was more of a longer description with not much happening, Gansey's story is a scene that give a hint of the search to come and of the boy who searches. I really enjoyed it, though I will say it's not necessary to the series.

The more time I spend away from this series, the more I think I like it. I like this series a looooot.
And this story fit right in with the series. Creepy and weird and magical and mystical. Plus it had my son Noah. Sooooo
