I really enjoyed all parts of this book except following Susannah (which is hilarious since this is named after her). Her parts were taxing to read for me and just didn’t drive me to get to the end, I think largely because it didn’t seem to head towards the Dark Tower.
I did enjoy the adventures of Roland and Eddie quite a bit! The shoot-out in 77, dealing with the nuisance that is Cal Tower, and then meeting Stephen King were all very exciting to read!
Note that I found the Stephen King bits to be a bit odd and disorienting, but I loved those feelings and reading that part anyway!
