Es un buen libro para pasar un rato. En cierta medida trata ciertos temas importantes pero tampoco los profundiza mucho, aunque no considero que lo haya hecho malamente.

LOVED this book. Adorable voice. Great chemistry between the friends-to-lovers couple. Wonderful strong representation of a disabled character in a wheelchair in a romantic relationship. Joss got a virus when she was 14, and when it spread to her spine, loss sensation in her legs. Her best friend Levi fell in love with her the moment her saw her, but she wasn’t ready for a relationship back then. Years later, they’re still besties, but when another guy comes on the scene, does that change things? I loved getting to spend more time in Green Valley, in the bakery, loved the strong characters all around, and seeing these two fall in love. LOVE LOVE LOVE this one!!! And yay that the Green Valley expanded series is available in KU!! 5/5 stars.

best friends to lovers, he falls first, Southern family curse, disability rep, virgin mc, big dogs and bakeries.

this was sweet. the series is literally called love at first sight, so I knew what I was getting into, but I liked it because Levi waited for YEARS and Joss made him work for it. they were cute, the Buchanan family was adorbs, and it made me crave some bakery sweets.

the main reason i picked this up was for the representation. this was my first book with the lead character in a wheelchair and I learned as much as I wanted so I am happy about that. this aspect also made Levi's character that much more swoonworthy because he was educated but also treated Joss exactly how she asked him to. he was almost perfect, except his actions at that last part were a bit concerning.

but i felt there was a lot left open ended. Joss's relationship with her mom (Joss's entire family history really), the whole move to Seattle felt very rushed and sporadic, Joy and Jennifer at the bakery, Andy the PT guy. i liked how short the book was, but there were some things that should have been removed just because it's information that has little purpose and only suceeds in making me unnecessarily intrigued.

Just didn’t like the romance. It was a badly done friends to lovers.
He reveals his feelings that he kept hidden until she was flirting with someone else and then she got mad (rightfully so) and then the rest is rushed
I mostly liked the characters but there was definitely points that I didn’t.

I haven't read anything by Penny Reid so I'm not completely sure how this fits into her world, but I loved Levi and Joss.

Some of the pacing didn't quite work for me (I would have preferred them being together longer before the third act conflict, or having it be very slow burn), but they were an easy couple to root for. And I liked the supporting characters.
