This book made me more team Jeremiah than Conrad. He’s so much nicer to her, and more supportive. The scene at the prom was very different than the show, took place before his mom died and he was still a jerk about it. He forgot the flower his mom made him get, after his mom made him go, didn’t want to dance with her, and tried to break up with her that night. So he didn’t want to go with her and didn’t want her to going with anyone else. Told her to wear shorter heals and was a standoffish prick trying to leave the whole night. Her mom wasn’t supportive about it either, saying theres other feelings here, like telling your daughter during her first heartbreak to get over herself. Still pretty obvious she’ll pick him in the end but so far he seems far worse for her than Jeremiah. Taylor is a whole other problem, not a fan.
