An Interesting Combination of Elite Warriors

Elite Metal is a complete team of military warriors who gather together to right the wrong that took out half of their original team. Each and every story is written by a separate author but in the epilogue all of the stories are wrapped up into a neat little bow. To say much more would spoil the stories. Each guy is named after a precious metal except for Poppy who works for Warbucks, who funds the team's adventures.

I received copies of Pure Copper by Heather Long and Mercurys Poison by Saranna DeWylde (two of the stories in this collection) from the authors for an honest review. I LOVED them both and am anxiously awaiting the publication of the book so I can read the rest.

Pure Copper by Heather Long – Copper is hell on wheels. She is the ultimate warrior/spy. (Think Black Widow with attitude). She has intrigued former CIA analyst Gabriel Danvers from the first time he saw her. Now he is out of the game but has popped on the radar of her team and she is sent in to check him out. She wasn’t supposed to fall for him. Love has never been so deadly. This is a fantastic read from first to last. I’ll admit I wasn’t ready to let them go.

Mercurys Poison by Saranna DeWylde – Oh my goodness this one will tear your heart out. Mercury is poison even in small doses which is why Dr. John Thrace uses it for his handle. His face and body bear the scars from when an experiment of his went wrong and seven people lost their lives but most of the scars are in his heart and mind. John has been stalking Dr. Hazel Brewer as she ministers to the homeless and now his enemies have targeted her to get to him. Can he save her and in doing so save himself? This story tore me up. I hurt so much for the both of them. That just made the ending that much sweeter.

Couldn't put it down!

I bought this book because elite ghosts came out for $0.99 and I was interested. I couldn't read the second set of books without reading the first. I hesitated when I saw the $4.99 price tag but it was so worth it!!! Not unexpectedly, some of the stories are better than the others but they are all good. I couldn't put this book down...

I have read Chrome's Salvation, by Jennifer Kacey and Sterling's Seduction, by Sabrina York.

About Chrome's Salvation :
This is probably the tamest book I've read from Jennifer Kacey. Not the way you think, though...
Of course it was kinky, but it also had a focus on adventure in a way that I had not expected her to do so, seeing that the books I've read from her mainly focus on the BDSM part.
But it was a "good" unexpected and it made me go back and re-read it!!
I loved the path the characters walked through their own issues and how it works out for them.
And of course, I loved how it guides us to the next story!

About Sterling's Seduction :
That was not expected! Ok… maybe it was a bit expected, judging by the lineup of authors, but still….. I would be expecting the story to be more tame!
Nope! That didn’t happen. It was wild and surprising… It didn’t drift the way I expected it to go, but followed a different direction.
Of course Sterling was hot! Of course he can take me to bed whenever he wants! However, he has a team to protect and he will do anything to achieve that!
Candy/Roni has her own secrets and an agenda of her own. Messing with Sterling might not be the solution she wants. And it actually isn’t.
The way the plot twisted in this particular part, had me speechless! I really was waiting for a different way of ending the story, but it didn’t!
Now I need to read the rest of the stories! :p
