I loved this book! Story had a great flow, and, of course it's illustrated by another one of my favorite graphic novelists/illustrators, Faith Erin Hicks.

Cute, fun graphic novel. Great addition to my classroom library.

Robot battles, Faith Erin Hicks, and a cheerleader/robotics club face-off. What more could you want?

Snappy writing, lovely art. My only real complaint is that there aren't a JILLION collaborations by these two already complete.

Shen, Prudence. Nothing Can Possibly Go Wrong. First Seconds, 2013.

Nate and Charlie have been friends for a long time, so when geeky Nate is pitted against athletic Charlie in the campaign for student body president, the boys are torn between doing what their other friends want and maintaining their lifelong friendship with each other. The art and the humor in this book are spot-on, and I wish I had a copy in my library, as I know it would fly off the shelves very quickly.

Recommended for: tweens, teens
Red Flags: robot violence

This was a lot of fun and I completely have a crush on Joanna. Oh teen angst you will always call to me no matter how old I am as long as it is in moderation as this graphic novel does well.

this graphic novel was amazing. the story was engaging, the characters were all likeable and one of the characters kept me laughing the whole time. I would definitely recommend this to someone who doesn’t read much graphic novels. please please read it the characters are all so loveable!!
