⭐⭐⭐⭐.5 stars 🫢 Ruby Dixon does it again!!
I think the description describes this book pretty well so I won't repeat it, but I think this plot was very well done. I love Valessa and Ranan. I think the vast character differences compliment each other perfectly. As always with Dixon's stories, the setting is amazing. I do have thalassophobia, but the fact that they were always near or in the ocean did not bother me as much as I thought it would. If you have bad thalassophobia, maybe this book isn't for you because there are mentions of deep sea (which honestly scares me the most), and unknown and dangerous sea creatures. There is a little miscommunication, BUT it is done well and is FULLY resolved. If you have enjoyed her other books, you will probably like this as well.
