I really appreciated reading Guy Delisle's graphic work recounting the months that aid worker Christophe André spent in captivity in Chechnya. Delisle traps the reader in small bleak panels that change little from page to page as he rolls out the narrative of André's thinking as he survives day to day in a world with little information, much deprivation and almost no hope for a positive conclusion. I couldn't put this book down until I had completed the journey with him.

Loved the color palette and art style, the feeling of captivity displayed throughout the graphic novel was palpable.
