The characters in these books are amazing. Slow plot, but it still delivers. Especially at the end. I don't think people are going to like this movie very much.

this book feels like a crime against humanity but especially a crime against me, my time, my sanity and what the fuck was frank herbert on. ew. ill give him that some worldbuilding ideas are cool but this guy had issues and you can tell in the writing

lots of dunes, very dune-y, not quite as electric as the first, as too many oracles make less interesting plot. I feel like the most intriguing character was Duncan Idaho 2

It has some good moments, but I thought most of this book was just boring. Lots of standing around, talking about philosophy, religion, etc. Not my preference.
