Bryce Lowery & Dakota. Bryce plays in the NHL and Dakota works on an apple orchard / farm. Bryce doesn’t know he’s gay but Dakota lights his lamp. I thought this book was soooo cute and well written. There was like one or two editorial mistakes but nothing major. Hot and low angst for the most part but kept me intrigued. I really cared about that characters and their outcomes.

This was just so...blah and sickly sweet at certain points. But I’m willing to try the next book.

As a fan of the romance genre and a fan of hockey this book had my name all over it and didn’t disappoint. I loved the two main characters and the development of their relationship, but the supporting characters were well rounded and delightful as well. There isn’t a huge amount of angst or drama in this book which I actually really enjoyed. Reading it was like wrapping myself in a soft, comfortable blanket. I will definitely be checking out more works by this author.

I was hooked on this book from the beginning. The secondary characters are wonderful, but Bryce and Dakota steal the show. It was the cutest meet I've read about in a long time, and then their relationship bloomed from there. There is a lot going in on in the book and I don't want to give anything away, but the conflict between the two was original, and I loved how by the end of the book, both Bryce and Dakota grew from their experiences. It was a wonderful read that I highly recommend!

Bryce and Dakota are absolutely wonderful together. I love a well-written OFY story, especially when you add in an athlete! This was low drama, funny, with a great cast of characters. At times, Bryce's family did seem a little overwhelming, but I loved watching Bryce slowing come into himself. there was the perfect amount of heat and romance.

3.5 stars. Adorable and sexy, if a bit on the sugary side. Everything went a little too smoothly to be believable. I loved how Bryce and Dakota talked to each other about their issues though and their family and friends were great.
