This was a wonderful thriller. It kept going back and forth between what happened years ago and what happened with lots of twists and turns as to what actually happened. It has a nice twist before the surprise ending.

This is a drama filled crime thriller that has so many twists and turns and some seriously questionable behaviour (and probably a lot of mental health issues that drive these). The story that unfolds is so chilling and gripping that once I got into it (it is a bit of a slow burn to start with) and started to piece together the real characters behind the masks they showed I couldn't put this down. Some of the revelations were utterly disturbing and felt all to real given some of the things that have come out in the real world in recent years. My only issue was that I didn't really connect with the main character, Harry, so I didn't get completely bought in on what happened to him. Annoyingly I can't put my finger on why either.

- I'm not quite sure why I continued reading or if I 'liked' this
- The drama kept me interested even though it was so fair fetched
- INCEST VIBES?? too many incest vibes for me just was weird...
- But props to Swanson he did hook me in
