It took me 250 pages to realize why my school had this on the list of books to read as educators. It was under the "alternative views of education" section and it took me forever to connect the dots. But I did, and I'm glad I read it. I went in knowing it was about bullying. I came out realizing that bullying can happen to anyone. Any student regardless of age, gender, appearance, academic ability and socioeconomic status can get bullied. We need to check on our students more often, all of our students. Also, our current methods of "teaching" anti-bullying programs may need to be reconstructed.

Careful description of two families who almost lose each other over bullying.

It's a message book, with very overt messages and filled with infodumps. If I wanted to read what google said about bullying, I would use google myself.
