A lovely collection. Langan's stories live in a wonderful zone where cosmic horror collides with literary writing that I'm just all about.

The stories were all enjoyable, but I particularly enjoyed the eponymous corpsemouth and outside the house.

Common themes throughout include regrets for paths not taken, a mysterious city on a black ocean, alternative worlds, as well as Stephen King references.
