Informative and interesting; this book gives a good overview of how geography plays a part politically in different regions across the world. It's not particularly in depth, but is a good start for anyone wanting to know about geopolitics and can encourage people to learn more about regions they're interested in. During the read, I felt a bit defeated by it, nihilistic even, in the sense that the author gives the impression that there are always going to be wars and trouble due to the Earth's geography, but it was still a compelling read that I would recommend.
