I was really into this one, I appreciated the market scene breaking things up and Gunner is so so so everything! I like how the story progresses- yes some of it is not as believable but it is fiction and the end of the world, which IS stranger than fiction.

I find myself still thinking back to these characters and this world, wondering what will happen long after I have moved on to a new book, so obviously this was a great book/series that I really enjoyed.
Can't wait for book 4!

And, its super hot. Not just the climate :)

These books are just getting better and better! The animals are an interesting plot twist, and I’m excited to learn what that is all about. Plus, the romance has been improving as well.

Mariposa, our no longer reluctant Heroine and Medic, is fully immersing herself in the Steel Demons lifestyle, enjoying the nights with Reapers while exploring the possibilities with Jandro. That part of this Reverse Harem is melding well, offering the characters a chance to get to know each other, and to love. There is also Gunner and Shadow, who each bring with them their own drama, past and difficulties - issues that Crystal Ash manages with both heart and understanding. I enjoyed seeing a potential member of a Harem with issues ABOUT being in the harem - instead of just jumping at the chance like everything is normal (as many books do, no aspersions.).... and don't even get me started on Shadow!

The PNR aspect I caught glimpses of in the beginning is brought into more focus here, though it is still not the main theme of the story. That happens to be the drama of a post-collapse world, the joining of lives and the mystery of who is really working against the MC. The paranormal is a side note.... though I have a feeling it is going to become MUCH more important after that final, cliffhanger scene.

Pros:
~ Well written.
~ People who actually have issues with a Harem type relationship.
~ The characters are growing and slowly exposing themselves to the reader.
~ Well edited.
~ Hades and Horus... plus that cliffhanger. Interesting times ahead!

Cons:
~ Left overs from Book 2 linger here and leave a bad taste in my mouth.

Perspective
~ First Person, Multiple POV

Ending Type
~ Cliffhanger, but not a bad one - more of a 'well that's interesting' type.

Rating
~ Mature

Romantic Dynamic
~ MMMMF

Character Age Range
~Adult

My Final Verdict on Fearless

This book was mainly one big filler. Like 80%. Which I’m not even gonna complain about because we desperately needed character build up and back stories!
We have a huge leap in the established RH. Two mean and a potential third… when he gets his stick out of his ass.
And we have Shadow. Oh man… this is the main character that I am completely invested in and the reason why I keep coming back to reading this series. Because I desperately need this man to be a part of the RH and gets his HEA.

“You’re stuck with me, little butterfly, “I mumbled, sleep and relaxed bliss settling into my limbs. “You just had to go and make me fall in love with you. “

“You make me feel like I don’t have to be afraid of anything. With you, I’m fearless. “

Reaper, Gunner, Jandro, Shadow all have POVso it’s important to pay attention on chapters. There’s tons of action and drama that keeps you on your toes and reading this book all in one sitting. I’m loving the whole paranormal aspect of everything. And with the animals.. a new one is introduced to a character. They’re like God/Goddess guardians. - This series is so unique and I’m digging into the next book soon!

Love is not a srong enough word!

I have read all of Crystal Ash's books. All. Of. Them. And I have to be honest and say this series is my favorite. I love all of it - from the storyline to the characters to the MC aspect. The characters though - they are what reel me in every time. I honestly like all of them and am invested in each character. I love Shadow and how strong he is in his own way despite the hurt, the brokenness. He tries and in this book we see him move forward in some ways. I'm enjoying seeing his development. I love Gunner. The sweet guy who Mari needs in her life and who can't seem to get out of his own way. A better person despite his past who I know Mari won't be able to live without. I love Jandro. The funny, charismatic flirt who has grown as a person and sees Mari for who she is and not just a plaything. How he cares for Shadow, the difficult friend, and everyone else but finally shows his true self in this book. I love Reaper. The president we all can't live without. The extremely emotional man who has 2 sides of himself, the public and the private. I love seeing his private side, how much he adores Mari and how much he needs her in his life. And I love Mari. The strong woman who backs down for no one when someone needs her. Who is what all of these men need but refuses to lose herself to them. I can't express how much I feel when she tries to help Shadow, when she stands up for herself and refuses to apologize, for her open mind and her need to help at any cost. I admire her character greatly and I adore the men she surrounds herself with.

Also, there's the added element of the pets, all named after gods of differing patheons that reflect each character. At least so far. So yes I loved this book. I enjoyed how the story progressed and I will with a 100% certainty be reading the next one!
