I really enjoyed all these super short vignettes. They varied a lot, from cute to disturbing, all infused with a bit of fantasy.

It was totally bizarre in the best way possible. My favourite part was probably the first chapter, The Secret.
And I almost cried when reading the parts with Kiyoshi Akai and Blackie. Can’t explain it, just struck me as really sad.

Honestly a very confusing book. I started it thinking it was a silly little stories made up by a child living in her neighbourhood but then it just kept getting stranger and stranger. It doesn't have any noticeable triggers however the stories are just wild. I went back and forth thinking is this real or not because the book says the most insane things but in a way which makes you question about whether what happened is actually real or not. Its a short read and it felt super fast. I would recommend it if you want to read something silly with no main plot lines but if you want a genuine story with lore this isn't the book for you.

Loved the gradual, weird world-building that keeps readers unsettled to the very end
