Think some of the concepts were neat (and the LBGT content was interesting given the setting), but I just wasn't finding it interesting enough to want to continue. Might try again next year

Woah, Mariana Enriquez's writing is so utterly captivating and immersive. This was so easy to fall into and the characters felt so real. I loved the magic system and the gothic atmosphere throughout the book also! My only complaint was that it was a little slow at times and I would have preferred there to be more action, especially in such a long book.
