Escribo en caliente, nada mas terminar esta review (Como siempre). Hacía tiempo que no me enganchaba a una trama así. Qué grandes personajes, que historia tan bien contada, que capacidad para trasladarte a ese mundo oscuro y que a su vez se parece al nuestro. Pensaba que me iba a echar para atras, los dialogos y vocabulario en argentino. Pero más bien al contrario, me ha metido más en la trama y, oye, ahora se como se dicen todas la prendas de ropa en argentino.
No mentiré tampoco, estos finales (aviso ligero spoiler), que quedan algo abiertos y que ves venir porque se resuelven en las ultimas paginas me dan bastante rabia. No hace justicia al mundo que construye, pero bueno los finales son difíciles.
Tambien he descubierto que me encanta este género de novela ficcion-historica
El mundo es oscuro y alberga horrores.

I am a full-grown, fully functional adult. I pay my taxes, I look forward to my morning coffee, and I have a vague notion of the rules of golf. I enjoy fiction best with a mug of something hot and a plate of something sweet at my side while I curl up in a large armchair next to a window. All this to say, I am a very boring person and am proud of the stability of my boringness.
But this book made me afraid of the dark in a way I haven't been since I was a small child, and I finished it within two days of picking it back up again after setting it down for finals. I can't explain it at all, but I will be thinking about this book for years. I can't believe I've never heard of the author before, but I'm so glad I bought this because I will probably page through it again in the future just to remind myself what true horror is.
Second read-through: still one of the most amazing and horrific books I’ve ever read, full stop.
