I loved this book so much. It's a challenging and philosophical story. I'm just a little confused about the "magic system".

This book made me tear up. I knew exactly how it was going to end when I started it. Because, frankly, there's only one sane choice that a person could make regarding the main issue of the book. But just the fact that it went into such meaningful territory about relationships, especially between parents and their children, is what really got me. And it made me think about my own parents, and mortality, and how people would think of me when I die. Or if the life I've lived is a fulfilling one. Man, this book really made me see things in a new light, and I'm happy I got to read it.

I didn't really vibe with it at first, but I have to admit that I like the quotes, and my favorite part is all about the cats, Lettuce (R.I.P. 🥀) and Cabbage.

Honestly, it's a little cruel to give it 3 stars as I do got teary-eyed towards the end, so I added 75 behind it.

Found the story really sad yet beautiful at the same time. The ending made me cry and though it was very well written. Was very reflective of the main character memories, but didn’t shy away from the sadness and harsh reality around facing your own morality.
