Charming murder mystery featuring a cast of retirees. I LOVED IT

Like a warm cup of tea and a cozy blanket and a good chat and laugh with a friend. And murder.

Absolutely delightful from beginning to end. I liked the various little bits of misdirection, a couple of them got me (looking at you Chris and Donna, or should I say Patrice?) and they were fun plot twists. This was the best cozy mystery I've read thus far and I think it's because none of the characters are idiots. It's also not overtly cheesy, just lovely and good. I hope there is a sequel because I'd love to spend more time with the Thursday Murder Club.

Also, mildly related, if they do a film version I would love for Jany Wymark to play Joyce. That's the crossover even I need.
