Buddy read this w a girl friend from my book club. It was pretty entertaining. I don't typically read mystery books but I enjoyed the group of friends and how cute and quirky they are. I think that having a book centered around characters that are much older added the extra sass to the characters. I'd want to read the other books at some point

Wish I could give 3.5. First half lacked substance and struggled to really get going. However if you can persist to the 2nd half it does get very enjoyable and kept me hooked. It's a different style of writing but once used to it I did enjoy

Maybe 3.5 ⭐️ A fast, fluffy read. I actually loved that the characters were all in their 70s and 80s because it’s a demographic I hardly ever read about, and seeing the world from that point of view was a nice change.

A fun mystery, likeable characters and unique setting. There were parts that I felt were very filler/padding and made the story drag a bit, but overall enjoyed.

I loved getting to know these main characters, and members of The Thursday Murder Club. While there were moments with tense suspense l, I really loved this more cozy mystery. Can’t wait to watch the show on Netflix when it comes out.
