A good, large cast of characters. Fast pacing.

It felt like it skipped right to the middle of a story and then didn't really progress any further. I am really enjoying Nikki St. Crowe's Lost Boys Series and thought it would be similar, but the only similarly is that the one store is split into 4 short books. I stopped after the FMC was taken captive for the 3rd time and was about to be assaulted.

This is the first book that I have read by Nikki St. Crowe and I cant wait for more. Their style of writing was so easy for me to get into. I finished this book in one day, I couldn't stay away. I loved Rain and Gus's friendship and how Rain takes a stand for herself. The end of the book is really killer! I can't wait for the next book.

I think this was an overall okay book. I like the story of Rain’s power and I like what her power actually is. However, besides a connection between her and Wrath, there’s no reason for her to care for him. There just was little to no actual interaction between them, but hopefully that will be more than just a connection of power in the second book!

I am disappointed honestly. I don't know why I had such high expectations, but I couldn't read after 20 pages. The word building is like reading wattpad, the plot is wattpad-like as well.
