Look it’s a train wreck and I couldn’t look away. I did not need paranormal romance meets NCIS. But, I finished it, so it gets a 2, because occasionally it had nuggets of good.

Out of all of Nikki’s books that I have read, I’m not entirely sure how I feel about this one (or this series in general after I finish it). Some of it seems way far fetched. I know it’s only fiction but still some of the storyline could have been better.

I like the premise and wrath but rain is one of those mc that makes me want to scream. Like I’m so stubborn I’m going to go out of my way to do something just because you told me not to. I absolutely detest it. Especially when her inner dialogue is telling her she’s an idiot and she’s like well I’m a fiery Aries so it’s ok. Like WHAT

Definitely entertaining!

The chemistry between the two characters didn’t hook me right away BUT the story was good enough for me to want to continue to the series. There were a few plot twists that I think will give the next one potential to be really REAAAALLY good.

I did giggle quite a few times. I liked Rain’s personality-ALOT

So.. it ends in a cliffhanger so, prepare for that because I wasn’t and the rage I feel right now is, comparable to the FMC. I really liked this though, the story line is unique, this doesn’t feel like some fated mates storyline but so much more. Rain kept her head so deep in the sand when the Demon King came that she didn’t see herself running into him, literally though. The spice, is barely there, but my goodness the tension is JUICY! Well worth it. I definitely plan on continuing cause, fire burns and hell is definitely coming. 😉 Happy reading!

Could be a lot better

This story could be really good if it was more fleshed out. You can tell the author was excited and rushed it. Good storyline, awful titles.
