I came to this for the art, but I'm not convinced by the story. It's pretty weird.

Epic. Wild. Extraterrestrial!
This was one far out tale of sci-fi, intergalactic, philosophical, religious based madness! What a ride. Soooo much creativity spilling out of wvery page. The design and art by Moebius was an absolute pairing alongside a story that took your average, horndog John and toured them around the galaxy on a quest to find love, the heart of darkness and relief. Strange shit is afoot, so strap in and enjoy. They say this story + artistic expression was the foundation of many sci-fi epics. I don't know about all that (I did see graces of 5th element and Matrix) but a saga you gotta read before SAGA!
Why not a 5? The story moved quickly in some key parts, a little too quickly. Also, a little on the cheesey side of things which gave me a chuckle but tossed me out of the world they so beautifully created.
