This book feels brilliant without being confusing. I hated putting it down.
Good plot. Characters made no sense. Emotional elements failed to land. A mess.
You had me at strong Jewish women. And then add in Chernobyl. And time travel. I so enjoyed this book. I save five stars for books with beautiful writing and deep meaning. This wasn’t that, but it was so much fun.
Fabulous, wonderful book. Characters, story, ideas, all top shelf. Writing that never ever shows off or gets in the way. Soul satisfying.
This book is hard to categorize. It's historical fiction, science fiction, and just generally great storytelling. An original and compelling story with rich, memorable characters.
The ideas were there , I think it could make an excellent TV show. I also really wanted to actually see the comics
