Interesting. I had a hard time reading this solely because I didn’t understand what a lot of the terms meant, so I think a lot of the creepy/ghostly descriptions were lost on me. All in all I liked it, but wish it was an easier read.

Complete lack of substantial character development or relationship building, even for a novella. We were TOLD the relationship dynamics, but i never quite believed them.
The spirit seemed to be with them throughout the entire last half of the book, and the MC even acknowledged her presence, but no one did anything about it? It was just like “oh the ghost is right behind us but we’re all just continuing our normal dialogue.” I didn’t get what was happening there.
And then the book just ends after the climax, which really didn’t have anything to do with the spirit. The events could have happened exactly the same way without being supernatural at all. It felt like two separate ideas.
Overall there was not a single aspect of this book that felt fleshed out.
