At least this treats Rose as a major character unlike the film this was a lead up to. (No I will never stop complaining about this).
All issues were interesting depicting events of varying importance from the characters' past. My favourites were the Rose & Paige story, their conversation with Leia was a highlight, and the Holdo centric issue. The FInn one and the Rey one were fun too, I liked FInn's characterization in his story. Rey's event itself was a bit random. The essays about the characters were nice, some lovely sentiments by Bria LaVorgna in both the Rey and Rose essay.

Great to learn more about some of the characters in the new star wars trilogy, especially rose.
I'm not going to summarize this one since it's just a collection of stories, each one focusing on a different main character from the Star Wars sequels trilogy. So I'm just gonna go through and give my thoughts on each story.
Finn: Finn has not always been the most interesting character to me, but his story really made me enjoy him a lot more. Finn's story revolves around him being a good person at heart even when he was a Stormtrooper. I also liked seeing how Stormtroopers operate on Starkiller base outside of the war with the Resistance. It was my second favorite story.
Poe: All right, so, confession: I do not give a shit about Poe. Another confession: my least favorite part about Star Wars is the starfighting. Weird, I know. So, Poe is like the perfect storm of shit for me. Obviously, I didn't care for this story. I didn't hate it, but just for the sheer fact that I don't enjoy Poe took away from the story. I did like that the person he was chasing, though, turned out to be Holdo. I loved her putting him in his place in Last Jedi and putting him in his place without him even knowing it was her.
Rose: I liked this one. The narration "twist" is predictable with it actually being Rose's sister, but that didn't take away from the story for me. Rose and Paige's backstory is sad and tragic, like so many other Resistance fighters, but I thought this built their relationship up in preparation for the Last Jedi.
Rey: Rey is my favorite Star Wars character period so obviously her story was my favorite. Her story focuses on her journey to Ahch-To where Luke Skywalker is. I liked the focus on how Rey feels alone because she has been alone for almost her entire life because that's something I feel like the movie don't capitalize on. Rey uses Jedi mind tricks (or whatever the technical name is) for the second time and it was awesome.
Maz/Holdo/BB-8: These were super short stories, but I liked all of them. BB-8's was probably my least favorite since I felt like it didn't build upon BB-8's character. But Holdo and Maz's stories both had something in them that made me more invested in their characters.

I am pretty bummed this line is coming to an end. I really enjoyed the Resistance era of comics, especially since they have not given us much on the new characters of the third trilogy. I am sure we will be getting more after Rise of Skywalker. However, for now, these help us dig in on some of our favorite Resistance heroes.
I still don't like Holdo but I enjoyed BB8's story in particular.
The Resistance books in the "Age of..." series have been the least interesting of the bunch, but I'll attribute that to my assumption that they just aren't aloud to do much with these characters.
There has been so much creativity around the original and prequel eras, but there is apparently greater licence with those characters.
It could also be the writing. The Rebellion and Republic era books came from Greg Pak and Jody Houser, respectively. The latter, especially, is a Star Wars god.
There was a fun lore connection to the Darth Vader comics in the Maz short story. Otherwise these stories were remarkably unremarkable. Finn's was the best of the bunch, though it was mostly just characterization reinforcement.
Pick this book up if, like me, you *have to* Star Wars. Otherwise keep waiting for Charles Soule's post-ESB run in 2020.

These stories are super cool, I especially loved the ones about Finn, Holdo and BB-8, they offered some great material.
