A lot of the things in this book are done well. But a lot aren’t.
I think it makes sense for the story to be sort of boring for the majority of the book since it’s always build up for the end of the school year. But that’s why I always quit the series halfway through.
This book had no business being 800 pages long and being the longest book in the series. It’s just quite stupid
If I had actually fully read and finished this series as a kid, I think I would’ve enjoyed it a whole lot more.
But I fear I’m not the target audience anymore. I will still attempt to read the last 2 books as well simply because they’ve sat unread on my shelf for so long
But on the other hand, the narration in the audiobook is absolutely brilliant and I love this man and his voice.
I switched between reading and listening, well I mainly listened when I couldn’t read the physical book or didn’t have the energy to, but either way I loved the narration. Brilliant

Between Umbridge, The Ministry, The Order, visions of Voldemort, & Sirius, this book was a page turner and an emotional rollercoaster. I think it’s now my favorite in the series.
