What a strange book. There are parts where I loved the writing and was deeply involved with the characters then there were parts of this book I found myself skimming through. A mix bag. Overall a good read.

A wonderfull reading. Discovering Laurence's writting was a must for me, having read her name and comments on her work in non-fiction pieces about canadian feminist literature. It was a discovery that was absolutly worth it. However, beware, for one must keep both eyes open and alert during this read.
